Why the UMPJE Needs Its Own Study Materials

How do I know if my state uses the MPJE or the UMPJE?
Check directly with your board of pharmacy and NABP. Adoption is expanding throughout 2026, and some states offer a transition window where you can choose either exam. If your state hasn't adopted the UMPJE, use one of the state-specific MPJE guides instead.
