Terms of Use

1. Who These Terms Cover

These Terms of Use apply to everyone who visits doctayo.com, purchases a book or digital product, enrolls in a DocTayo Academy program, books a coaching service, or otherwise uses any DocTayo product or service. By using the site or purchasing anything from it, you agree to these terms.

2. Educational Purpose Only

DocTayo Academy programs (Get Ahead, Get In, Get More), books, study guides, articles, and coaching services are educational and skill-building resources only. They do not constitute professional, medical, legal, career, admissions, or financial advice, and using them does not guarantee employment, admission to any school, an interview, a job offer, a promotion, a specific exam result, a specific salary, income, or any other particular outcome.

3. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase a book or program, or submit a coach review. DocTayo does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Applicants under 18 — for example, students applying to direct-entry pharmacy programs — may participate only through an account created, purchased, and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms of Service on the applicant's behalf, complete any purchase, and supervise the applicant's use of the platform. A minor may not independently create an account, accept these Terms, or make a purchase.

4. Fictional Case Content

Any prior authorization cases, patient scenarios, or clinical examples used within Academy programs are entirely fictional. Never enter real patient information, protected health information, or confidential third-party information into any DocTayo tool, assessment, contact form, or coach-review submission.

5. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@doctayo.com of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the coach-review or file-upload systems, or attempt to access content that hasn't been purchased.

6. Digital Products

Ebooks and other digital products are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You receive a download link or in-account access after purchase; you may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share the file itself. Access to purchased digital content does not expire unless stated otherwise on the product page.

6a. Subscription Products (e.g., UMPJE Question Bank)

Some products, such as the UMPJE Question Bank, are sold as a recurring monthly subscription rather than a one-time purchase, and accessed by signing in to your account rather than downloading a file. You will be charged automatically each billing period until you cancel. New questions and other content updates are added continuously and are available to you immediately as an active subscriber — there is no separate "version" to track. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing, and your access ends when Stripe reports the subscription as canceled — depending on how you cancel, this may be immediate or at the end of your current billing period. Cancellation does not retroactively refund amounts already charged except as described in the Refund Policy.

7. DocTayo Academy Programs

Enrollment in Get Ahead, Get In, or Get More grants access to that program's modules, tools, assessments, roadmap, and coach-review submissions (where included) for as long as DocTayo continues to offer that program. If DocTayo discontinues a program, enrolled customers will be notified at least 90 days in advance and given an opportunity to complete outstanding work or export their data before access ends. Programs are self-paced and automated except where a coach review is explicitly described as personally reviewed by DocTayo — DocTayo does not represent that any automated content or score is personally reviewed unless stated.

8. Coaching and Coach-Review Services

Coach-review submissions (resume, personal statement, interview responses, offers, sales pages, and similar materials) are limited per program as displayed at the time of submission. Submitted materials must not contain patient information or confidential employer information. Feedback is educational and does not guarantee any outcome. For live coaching sessions, the price, format, number and length of calls, revision limits, and support window are disclosed on that service's own page before purchase and form part of these terms for that engagement.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Live coaching sessions may be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled time by emailing support@doctayo.com. Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours in advance, and no-shows, may forfeit that session. Async/asynchronous review services (no live call) do not have a scheduling component and are governed by the submission and turnaround terms shown on that service's page.

10. Refunds

For digital products (ebooks, program access, coaching), refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase to support@doctayo.com and are evaluated case-by-case. Access to digital program content may be revoked upon a refund being issued. Once a live coaching call has taken place, or once a coach review has been delivered, that specific service is considered fulfilled and is not eligible for a refund. 11. Intellectual Property

All program content, book content, articles, assessments, tools, and templates are owned by DocTayo (Adetayo Ogunsanya, PharmD) and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell any DocTayo content.

12. No Guarantees

DocTayo does not guarantee admission to any pharmacy school, passing any exam (including the NAPLEX or MPJE), employment, promotion, a specific income, insurance coverage, prior-authorization approval, or any health outcome. Individual results depend on many factors outside DocTayo's control.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocTayo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, its content, or purchased products or services.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or Academy after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. See Privacy Policy for how we record your acceptance of these terms when you create an Academy account.
